The role of friends in school life
friendship in school environment plays a crucial role in imdividuals and social development. First of all, friendship can create a sense of belonging and assist them to build self-esteem, feeling like you belong be can have a various benefits, including support overall well-being and provide a sense of purpose. having friends allows us to feel part of a group, increassing a sense of security and giving them someone in their own age that they can relate to and turn to. Secondly, friendship can teach teamwork, whether it’s during a lesson, a sports game or at playtime, school friends can be more likely to form solid teams where they able to feel more confident sharing their ideas, opinions and work together. Different opportunities to work in teams also broaden your horizons, providing new chances to meet and contact with other friends. Lastly, friendship can encourage sympathy, having diverse groups of friends from a young age can help us improve a stronger sense of empathy and connection with others, they may be more likely to express their feelings more articulately and notice those feelings in others. In sum, friendship in school life provide principal emotional, academic, and social advantages that enhance a student’s overall experience and personal growth.
