Task 1 Writing - The line graph shows the income of four cafes in New York over the last year
The depicted graph illustrates the earnings of four distinct cafes, namely The Tea Room, Internet Express, Wi-fi café, Café Cool in New York last year.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the amount of money gained by all cafes mentioned by the graph experienced upward trends, except for the case of The Tea Room. Moreover, it is apparent that Wi-fi café received the highest amount of money at the end of the year.
As can be seen, the Tea Room had the highest amount with 160 million dollars in January. Afterward, this figure increased considerably to nearly 175 million dollars in March after a sharp decrease in February. The following months saw a dramatic fall to approximately 45 million dollars in December. In contrast, Wi-fi café witnessed an enormous rise to nearly 185 million dollars in December from the starting point of roughly 45 million dollars in January.
At the beginning of the year, Internet Express earned exactly 100 million dollars and this figure for Café Cool was just 30 million. Afterward, both cafés experienced a substantial increase during the span.
