The chart provides information about the most common sports played in New Zealand in 2002. Generally, it gives figures for both girl and boy and clearly shows that their participation in sport is fairly equal. However, their sporting preferences tend to differ.
According to the graph, it is certain that the proportion of girls more likely to play netball, participants reach about 25 percent. A similar percentage of boys prefer soccer, which is clearly common among boys. On the other hand, the smallest proportion among girls is cricket, with about 2 percent, while the boys more likelihood to play cricket almost middle level. And also swimming is more stable level between boys and girls at about 15 percent and 20 percent correspondingly
Lastly, such sports as basketball, tennis, martial arts and also athletics are not famous in each one about 5 percent to 10 and Boys is more likely to exercise in other sports.
