The importance of introducing music to the kids, which was always debatable, has now become more controversial. The substantial influence of this trend has sparked the controversy over the potential impact of this trend. It can be strongly agreed upon the fact that different kinds of music have some favourable arguments in favour of promoting the child learning abilities, however, there has always been some contention about it. This essay will further elaborate on both the sides and thus will lead to a logical conclusion.
At the outset, there are numerous reasons how specific kind of music can increase the level of learning in children life, but the most conspicuous one stems from the fact that music helps the students to stay focused to their studies, and this can be contributing fact to make them more sharp minded. As an illustration, the research in this area invariably shows that children who listen to one hour of music every day achieved eighty per cent marks in their final examination. For this reason, the importance of music in enhancing children learning should not be ignored.
Nevertheless, some hold an opposing view and tend to believe that music can impair the learning of students in several ways, but the most preponderant on is that music can distract the students from other non-academic subjects like as, math, science, and history. For example, according to a recent survey done by the Sydney University revealed that the pupils who listen to music every day, have failed in the examination.
Therefore, music can play a vital role in making the students less attentive to their academic heads.
In view of arguments outlined above, one can conclude that despite having some drawbacks the role of music in increasing the performance level of the candidates is instrumental indeed.
