You live in an area where the local council has made some changes to regulations. You believe these changes are not good for residents.
Write a letter to a councillor. In your letter:
Introduce yourself.
Describe the problem.
Say what you think the council should do about the situation.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am Abhishek Singh, resident of Lotus boulevard from past 5 years. I am writing this letter in the reference to the new regulations which are in effect from March. The updations in the parking is completely irrelevant as it become hard to find a parking slot near the club house.
The new paid parking scheme has become a chaos to our colony. Firstly, the daily rates for the parking are very high and in order to avoid the parking ticket, people park their car to the club house due to which there is plethora of traffic congestion nearby it. During the evening time, it is hard to find a slot for parking while all the paid slots were vacant. Further more, people of our society started to park their on roads resulting in insecurity and road accidents.
I would like to suggest you to drop the fare of parking tickets unless it will be difficult to manage during the festive season. Further more you can add more parking space by turning the nearby park areas to the slots as there is enough green areas between the towers.
I hope you will take some adequate action towards this issue.
Yours faithfully
Abhishek Singh
