The graph below presents information about the number of phone calls time splitted on the three groups depending on their types (regional, national and international and cellular) from 1995 and till 2002. Units are measured in billions of minutes.
At the first glance, it is clear that most calls were local-fixed line ones, while the fewest calls were made via mobile network. The same situation is observed throughout the period in question. However, in 1999 the highest number of local calls were made and in 1995, there was the smallest quantity of cellular phone calls
As far as local calls are concerned, we can see that at first number of calls gradually rose from around 70 billion in 1995 to 90 billion in 1999, and then the figures returned at the same pace to the equal value in 2002. Speaking about national and international phone conversations, there was an upward trend over the period from approximately 36 billion minutes in 1995 to 61 billion in 2002.There is the upward trend also regards to mobile phone calls. The rate goes up almost exponentially from 3 billion in the beginning of concerned period and to nearly 45 billion of messages in the end of it.
