The horizontal axis has the unit in years (ranges 1940-2040) whereas the units for the vertical axis is in percentage(ranges from 0 to 30). In the year 1940, the population percentage for all three countries is minimal with respect to the upcoming years.
Green and black line are in progressive order while the red line is declining in the initial stages but can be seen steep in the end. Moreover, in 1940, the black line is at the apex and the red line is at the lowest among all three. However, the vice-versa can be seen for red and black line in the year of 2040.
Notwithstanding the percentage of sweden and usa lies between 20 to 25 percent, japan shows the percentage above 25 in the year 2040.
