You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel.
1- Say where you think you left the papers.
2- Explain why they are so important
3- Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.
Dear Mr/Ms. Manager,
Hope you are doing good!
I lost my file in your hotel yesterday. I was waiting at the reception for your staff. I recall holding an official file, since it took a few minutes for being shown the way, I remember keeping the file on the desk in the guest area. Once the waiter arrived , I went inside to dine.
After a heavy dinner, I paid the bills and forget to retrieve my file.Unfortunately, I walked past the entrance but did not spot it there as well. After reaching home , I noticed that the file was no longer in my possession. So , I immediately searched in the car, its trunk however to my dismay, could not find any trace of it.
I suppose your facility managers must have kept it away. this file has some important budget forecasts relating to my company,it was a top priority job that I was working on and documented in the file
Is it possible to check and confirm if this file can be located?
Thanks in advance.
Yours sincerely
Sabitha Sriram
