The given pie charts depict data about how fish import to the US was changed and the table illustrates its in Billions of Dollars in the years 1988, 1992 and 2000.
Overall, at the beginning of the period China imported the least amount of fish to the US, while Canada was the most significant sector. In comparison, at the middle and at the end of the period such sectors as others and China became the largest segments.
Looking at the details, it must be said that other countries’ sectors accounted for 27 per cent in 1988, and experienced an increase to more than two-fifth in 1992. As for China, this segment made up less than a fifth, and rose to 20 %. After that, it had a growth of one in ten per cent in 2000. Total price started at 6.57 billion dollars, and increased to 8.52 in 1992. At the end of the period, it had a growth to 2.2 billion dollars.
By contrast, the third sector of others decreased by 4 % in 2000. In 1988 Canadian rate were at 60 % and then it fell to 34 %. After that, this segment went down to less than a third fraction in 2000.
