Dear John,
I was so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope your condition has become better now and will be discharged from the hospital soon.
The cricket match held on last weekend was a thriller where our team made a majestic win. It was a huge target of 250 runs to chase and at a very early stage, we lost three major wickets. The whole responsibility came on my shoulders, I was worried but thanks to the technique you taught me to face the spinners, it really worked and I was able to make a winning score.
The weather was quite hot on that day which made the pitch extremely dry, giving advantage to the off-spinners. Somehow, our batsmen withstand the spins of the ball and performed well in extreme weather conditions.
Although, we won your presence was missed by everyone. I wish you the fast recovery and hope you will join the team soon. Wishing you the regards from the whole team.
