You are planning a short visit to a city where one of your relatives lives.
Write a letter to your relative. In your letter:
• Explain when and how long you will be in town.
• Ask whether you can stay at their home.
• Offer to pay for yourself.
Dear Karthik,
I am writing this letter to let you know that I am travelling to Chennai on a business trip from my organization.
Let me explain in detail. I will be staying in Chennai for a month due to business meetings with clients who are going to visit Chennai office from the USA and for project delivery. My company will offer accommodation for my stay from Aug 14th to Sep 12th, 2019, but I will like to stay in your home. By this way, we will get some time to talk and hang around nearby attractions. Its been a long time since we met a couple of years ago, I feel this would be the right opportunities for us to recall our childhood memories. Also, I would like to pay including food and other household expenses during my stay. Please talk to your parents let me know your decision.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Regards,
Sreenivas
