You cannot go to a company where you got an offer. Write a letter to the HR supervisor to:
• explain the reason why you decline the offer
• express your gratitude
• explain why you like your current job very much
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to convey my gratitude for considering me for the position of Senior Manager at your company. However, I have decided to continue working with my present employer and hence cannot accept your offer.
The main reason for denying this role is the remuneration package suggested in the offer letter. The salary is way below than my current role and the benefits are not that great either, therefore, after carefully evaluation, I regret to say that I will have to deny your offer.
My current role allows me to have perfect work-life balance and provides a great salary package. Moreover, I believe within a year I would be eligible for the desired Senior Manager role.
I greatly appreciate efforts of your team and staff involved throughout the interview process. I sincerely thank to your HR team as well as the members of interview panel for their time to discuss this opportunity with me.
My sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused due to this. Thank you for time and consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Nilesh Shah
