The bar chart illustrates the proportion of people in 2003, 2005 and 2007 who went to the cinema from Monday to Sunday in a certain European country.
Overall, In all the years, the greatest percentage of people visited the cinema on Saturdays, furthermore, more people went to the cinema during weekends than weekdays.
In 2003, nearly 40% of people visited the cinema on Saturday, this number increased slightly to about 45% in 2005, before declining marginally to approximately 42%. Similarly, on Sunday exactly 30% visited the place, which also rose to around 34% and dropped slowly to about 32%. However, an equal percentage of people visited the cinema on Fridays, which stood at 30%.
On the contrary, on Mondays, only 10% of people were in the cinema in 2003, however the figure doubled on Tuesday to 20%, fell slightly to just over 15% on Wednesday, before rising considerably to around 23% on Thursday. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in 2005, the percentage of people who visited the cinema remained unchanged at about 13%. This is similar to Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2007 when about 18% was seen there, this figure reduced on Mondays and Wednesdays to around 13 and 8 percent respectively.
