The pie charts and table give information about the total value and sources of fish imported to the U.S between 1988 and 2000.

The charts and table provide information on the total cost of brought in fish and the origins throughout three years (1988, 1992, and 2000).

Overall, the aggregated value of fish was the highest in 2000. It’s spotted that fish was mostly transported from Canada than any other country in 1988. However, in 1992 and 2000 other countries exported the topmost compared to Canada and China.

To start with, in 1988 the total value was the least among the three years. But the increase through the years has been gradually, the difference between each year was around 2.5 billion dollars. Moving on, in 1988 China was only providing less than a one fifth hence being the least. On the other hand, China showed a slight increase in 1992 and 2000, but in general China was the least to show noticeable fluctuations.

Then, a drastic change has been recognized from other countries, increasing by 19% from 1988 to 1992. As a result, other countries became predominant in comparison to the rest. In addition, a drastic change has been noticeable, Canada declining from 1988 to 1992 by 26%. Moving on, Canada continued to decrease its exports slowly from 1992 to 2000, only providing moderately more than a quarter.
