The chart compares average house prices in five different cities during a period of 13 years from 1989. On the whole, it can clearly be seen that the costs of average home decreased between 1990 and 1995, while on the other hand, the prices in most of cities increased from 1996 to 2002. In addition, London experienced the greatest average price over the 13-year period.
