Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go. Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:
Say why you would like to go on the trip
Suggest what you could do to help during the trip
Ask other questions about the trip
Dear Madam
I am writing this is response to the letter I received from you yesterday regarding the children school trip. I am glad to know that you are also involving parents along with kids in extra-curricular activities and giving them some time off from busy routine and giving them a chance to spen some quality time with children. I would like to volunteer my services for this trip and will be more than happy to contribute any help that I could on my part.
I am sure that I will be of great help as I have worked as a school teacher a few years back and I was very good at handling kids. Moreover, some of the children are already familiar with me since they are friends with my kids and we have already met. My background as a history teacher will also prove helpful as I can provide students with the information about places they will visit and hence have an insight of the historical backgrounf of the spots they are getting a chance to know.
I would like to ask a few question that would help me plan the trip. Can you give me a roadmap of the places we will visit and about the accommodation that will be provided for parents.
Yours truly,
Aqsa Afzal
