The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
The given pie charts displayed the changing pattern of annual expenditures in five different aspects by a school in the United Kingdom in the years of 1981, 1991, and 2001 .
A glance at the graphs reveals that the percentage of money which was spent annually on teachers’ salaries sector was the largest, whereas the amount spent on the insurance category was the least.
The percentage of money which was paid on teachers’ salaries experienced a noticeable increase from 40% in 1981 to 50% in 2001. Subsequent to that, this figure experienced a 5% decline to 45% in 2001; however, it remained the largest part of each chart. Similar to that, there was a 5% increase in the funding proportion of the resource’s category accounting for 20% in 1991, in contrast to 9% in 2001.
Turning to the remaining datasets, it is clearly obvious that 23% of the annual spending gone to the furniture and equipment category in 2001, relative to 5% and 15% in 1991 and 1981, respectively. Expenditure of insurance had increased to 8% in 2001, in comparison to 2% in 1981. Conversely, 15% of the money was spent on the other works category in 2001, in comparison to 22% and 28% in 1991 and 1981, respectively.
