Overall, it can be seen that the percentage of individuals in 14-24, 25-34 and 35-49 age groups who visited cinema increased, whereas visitors of cinema by masses in 50 above older age group decreased over the period shown.
Looking at the chart in more detail, it can be seen that the visitors of cinema by people on 14-24 younger age group stood at only 90% at the beginning of the period. This number declined consistently to 75% in 1988, after this line go up to approximately 90% in 1998, By 2008 it had dropped steadily to 80%. However, cinema visitors by individuals in 25-34 and 35-49 age groups were fell rapidly from 80% and 60% in 1978 to 68% and 50% in 2008 respectively.
Turning to remaining in to data set, it is evident that the 40% of people who visited cinema by 50+ older age group in 1978. This number declined briefly to only 20% in 1988 which was the lowest point on the chart, and after this data rose exponentially to just 50% at the end of the period.
