Nowadays celebrities earn more money than politicians. What are the reasons for this? Is it a positive or negative development?
The is vastly evidenced that famous personalities such as actors or sports players tend to get highly paid as compared to politicians. The most prominent reason is their reputation among the people which helps them earn more. In my opinion, it is a positive development and has a great impact on society.
To start with, the most justified notion for the celebrities for being wealthy is the countless fans that support them and follow time. They act as role models for most of the youth or teenagers and become the center of attraction hence, followers tend to do the same activities done by them for instance, wearing the same clothing, following the same hairstyle to doing good deeds such a helping poor. These celebrities are often seen in the advertisements which are for promotions or supporting inauguration of a new business. Apart from this, they socialize the business started by them at different social platforms and ask there fan to join or use the facility they are supporting. Most of the celebrities are brand ambassadors of international and national brands while illustrating themselves and adjoining them with the brand they increase their sales and earn a great amount of money for the advertisement.
The celebrities tend to collaborate and interact with various people on the online and get in touch with their problems and help them by understanding their problems. The more big stars earn money more they help charities, for example, the most recent one is a donation of 25 crores given by Akshay Kumar to the government of India during the Corona Virus Pandemic. The other personality such as Sushmita Sen, she has not got married and adopted orphan children to help them instead. Some other celebrities also pay high capital expenditure or charitable activities from providing food for poverty to establishing schools for children in deprived areas.
In conclusion, considering the point discussed above, the most conclusion to draw is that a celebrity’s reputation causes earn more money in comparison to the rest of the jobs. From my point of view, that is a positive development significantly in charity activities.
