The graph below shows how money was spent on different forms of entertainment over a five year period
The bar chart illustrates the amount of expenditure put on various kinds of entertainment in the 1995-2000 period in three continents namely Asia, Europe, and the United States.
At first glance, this 5-year period witnessed significant upward trends in the sum of money used for leisure activities in three places.
Out of three parts, it is noticeable that the United States took the lead in the figure for money spent on these forms, at 184 billion in 1995 and 257 billion in 2000. Nevertheless, only 67 and 110 billion in 1995 and 2000 respectively were spent on entertainment forms in Asia. In addition, the amount of expenditure on these pleasant activities in Europe was approximately 2-fold as low as that in the US, at exactly 97 billion in 995 and 131 billion in 2000.
Looking at the bar chart in more detail, we can see that the total expenditure on entertainment in 2005 was just under 1.5 times as much as that in 2000. Next came Asia, which stood at a 43-billion gap between 1995 and 2000. By contrast, there was the smallest increase in the amount of money spending on leisure forms belonged to Europe, which was responsible for 34 billion.
