the graph below gives information about international tourist arrivals in five countries.
The line graph illustrates the number of overseas tourists visiting five countries, namely Brazil, Egypt, Malaysia, France and US during the period from 1995 to 2010.
It is noticeable that the number of international travelers coming to five countries considerably rose over the 15-years period, particularly US and France. Overall, the number of overseas visitors in France experienced the fastest growth in comparison with that of Brazil and Egypt.
In 2015, the highest figure was recorded in US with nearly 70 million travelers, followed by the second popular destination, France, with around 30 million people visiting. Over the span of 10 years, there was a significant increase in both the number of overseas tourists in US and France, approximately 90 million and 70 million respectively in 2005. From 2005, the figure for France continued its upward trend, when that of US slightly reduced. Surprisingly, til 2010, The number of people visiting France caught up US as both of them had similar number, with approximately 90 million people.
Nearly 20 million international tourist visiting Malaysia, much higher than the figures for brazil and egypt, only ranged around 10 million visitors. From 1995 to 2010, There was a dramatic rise to nearly 50 million in the number of oversea visitors in Malaysia, whereas, both the figures for Brazil and Egypt recorded a marginal growth to 15 and 18 million people respectively. It can be seen that Brazil and Egypt was the least attractive destinations for overseas travelers among 5 countries.
