The diagrams below show the design for a wave-energy machine and its location.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The given diagrams represent the process of how to produce energy from water wave and different location options for the same.
Overall, there are multiple steps involved in production of energy from water and there are two locations possible according to the diagram.
Firstly, Wave energy machine follow typical process to produce electricity. Due to the wave direction the water level rises in the chamber of machine and then air starts to flow inside the machine firstly it enters from the environment to machine which rotates the turbine and then enter the chamber where waster is there.Again it comes out from the below chamber and leave out the machine by rotating the turbine from the other end of machine.Due to the turbine rotation mechanical energy is generated which is transformed to electric energy by electricity generator.
It is observable that we have have two possible locations to install machines to produce electricity from wave. One option is to install at location where waves are small at low cost which gives low output. On the other hand we can install the machine where large waves are present which leads to high installation cost with high output.
