The below three pie charts illustrate the consumption of three nutrients, sodium, saturated fat and added sugar by the citizens of USA in their daily 4 meals.
To begin with, people of the America eat sodium by 43% in dinner, which is maximum, while 29% in lunch. The USA’s people consume equal portion of sodium in breakfast and snacks.
Similarly, as per the saturated fat, the portion was decrease in dinner and lunch by 6% and 3% respectively but, the percentage was increased in breakfast and snacks as compare to sodium, which was recorded 21% and 16% respectively.
Moreover, people consume added sugar more in snacks in America, almost by half of the population, while 23% was recorded for dinner. Similarly, 16% and 19% for breakfast and lunch respectively.
Overall, as per the shown in the pie chart, sodium and saturated fat was maximum consumed in dinner, whereas, the consumption of added sugar was more in snacks in USA daily meals.
