The line graph provide information about percentage of unemployment rates in rural and urban areas in the year 2012.
Overall, the percentage of people without jobs in rural areas outweigh the ones in cities throught the period.
Looking at rural unemployment, in the first quarter there were around 6.5% people who were not working. However, in the next quarter the unemployment rates drastically reduced to approximately 5%. In the following quarter unemployment rates saw an opposite trend and increased to about 5.5% and reported to be 5% in the fourth quarter.
With regards to urban areas, the percentage of unwaged workers were significantly less compared to rural areas with just over 2%. Nonetheless, the percentage increased significantly reaching to 4% in the second quarter but there was a downward trend till the third quarter where unemployment situation was same as that of first quarter(2%). Anyway, in the fourth quarter the situation was dire as more people were jobless and the percentage was nearly equal to rural unemployment rates (5%).
