The two tables compare percentage according to the results of two surveys which people assessed different aspects of one city's life as good, average or bad in the years of 1980 and 2010.
Overall, in 1980, three aspects, education, healthcare, environment, were given the highest score, other aspects, shops, employment, transport were the least, whereas, after three decades, education, employment increased sharply, healthcare and transport decreased dramatically and environment and shops were almost constant.
To begin with 1980, people rated education, healthcare and environment the highest proportion 72%, 82%, 72% approvals, respectively, although under a tenth of surveyed people assessed them as bad. For shops and employment, just under two thirds of participants on survey said that these services were good, however under 10% people thought that they were bad. Over half of participated people on survey rated transport and a third of them said transport system was bad.
Turning to 2010, the most significant increase was in education and employment with both of them increasing to 82% and to 72%, respectively, even though opponents of them had increase to 9%, 23%, as well. Healthcare had experienced a decrease to 74% by 2010. The transport facilities went down from 52% to 39%, the figure was 38% who were not satisfied with transport service.
