The line graph conveys the percentage of several household electrical tools and the number of hours to run an errand per week in houses between 1920 and 2019.
In general, the rate of household appliances increases with washing machines being the lowest, while the number of household working hours per week surged eventually.
From 1920 to 1960, the proportion both washing machine and vacuum cleaner showed a steep incline by 20%, whilst the usage of refrigerator skyrocketed to more than four-fifths. However, a steep declination was seen in the hours of housework from 50 hours per week spent to only 20 hours per week.
Forty-nine years later, the proportion of refrigerators kept on climbing to 100%, surpassing the rate of washing mashing at 65%. The same trend applied to the rate of the refrigerator before showing no changes in 100% eventually, resulting in a steady low numbers hours to do house cleaning per week to below 20%
