The graph illustrates how different demographic groups would earn their salary weekly based on three types of qualification, which are first degree, higher degree and others, in the year 2002.
Overall, people with others qualification made the most amount of money all age, while first degree owners had the lowest earnings each week, in general. It is noticeable that employees with higher degree could receive higher salary than the two others when reached an old age.
As the one with highest income in total, the others qualification group earned just above 400 pound at age 21-25. This figure increased dramatically and hit its peak at the age 36-40, where the salary of this group higher than the other almost a hundred pound. However, from the age 40 to 60, the number experienced a gradual dip and stopped at just below 700 pound. Staff with first degree qualification also followed the same pattern, beginning with about 200 pound, the income experienced an upward trend and reached its highest point at the age 36-40 with approximately 700 pound. After that this figure gradually decreased and ended up at the same point with the others qualification group.
Regarding the employees with higher degree qualification, the pattern was repeated, the number started low with about 400 pound then it underwent steady raise, which reached around 750 pound at age 41-45. Surprisingly, the figure soared up to just below 800 pound, a hundred pound higher than the other two group at the same age, in comparison, after experienced a slight drop.
