The chart depicts the outcome of a survey about people's preference towards buying coffee and tea and drinking habits in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart.
Overall, most people prefer going to a cafe rather than buying instant or fresh coffee. Additionally, in the last 4 weeks, fresh coffee was the least bought in all five cities. City residence is measured in percentage.
Firstly, people going to a cafe is just above 60% in Sydney and almost 65% in Melbourne. However, buying instant and fresh coffee are only just above 45% and approximately 44% respectively. We can see that in Melbourne the percentage is close to Sydney (approximately 48% and 43%). In Brisbane, it is seen that instant coffee is also bought as often as going to a cafe for coffee(almost 56% and 53% respectively).
Coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in Adelaide is 50% for buying instant coffee and just below 50% who goes to a cafe for coffee in the past few weeks. As expected, buying fresh coffee is almost 35% in the last 4 weeks. However, in Hobart, approximately 37% of people tend to buy fresh coffee. In the past few weeks, most people in Hobart went to a cafe (almost63%) than buying instant coffee (54%).
