Process of making chocolate bars
The diagram elucidates an information about process of making chocolate bars and the pie chart depicts how the price of a chocolate is divided among those involved in the process.
After analyzing the whole illustration, it becomes apparent that in first step, coca beans are taken and are then sent for grinding. Along with this, waste is discarded, then after cocoa powder is converted into cocoa liquour. Further, it is for industrial chocolate and second goes through pressing to form cocoa powder and another one is cocoa butter which is mixed with sugar and used by factories for the purpose of making chocolate bar.
Shifting attention towards the second illustration, it is further evident that major share of cost is received by ingredients and overheads being 37%, then closely followed by supermarket by 34% of share. Farmer who produces cocoa beans receives very less only 4%. Besides, 15% and 10% is received by tax and chocolate company respectively.
Hence, every step is equally important and interlinked with each other. Omission of any step will halt the whole process and least profit is granted to farmers.
