The diagram shows how rainwater is collected for the use of drinking water in an Australian town
The picture below demonstrates the method of gathering rainwater for the purpose of making drinkable water in a town in Australia.
Overall, the process consists of four main stages, beginning with the collection of impure water resources, and ending with the drinkable water resource.
At the beginning of the process, a large amount of precipitation slid off the rooftops, and then, thanks to the roof gutter, the following rainwater flowed into the adjacent water pipe in order to funnel into the underground water systems. Once this stream of water underwent filtration to remove all sediments and impurities, the initial stage of quality was verified. After being filtered, the processed water flows into the large container before running through the storage tank.
The process continues with rainwater bumped into the water treatment tank, which conducts the addition of chemical components to make sure that the water not only is safe from bacteria and germs but also make it fit for consumption. Finally, the fresh water is introduced into another series of underground pipes connecting to the apartment and is ready to be drunk from the taps.
