The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kind of meat in European country from 1979 to 2001.
The line graph shows the consumption of fish and various types of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
Overall, chicken have been the dominant type of meat from the beginning year to the end year. Fish have represented a small but significant proportion of total consumption and despite of small consumption it decreases slightly.
Chicken command the continuous increase in consumption at 150 gram per person per week 250 grams from the year 1979 and 2004 respectively. On the other hand, there is a drastic decrease has been manifested in the consumption of beef. It is accounted as 210 grams in 1979 and fluctuated for next 5 years and results in decrease of beef consumption at 120 gram in 2004.
Lamb represented intake of 150 grams and it decreased continuously and in the year 2004, it is speculated the consumption is accounted as 70 grams only. Fish consumption has decreased in year 1979 and after that remain constant at approximately 50 g.
