The plans below show a student room for two people and a student room for one person at an Australian university.
The picture compares a student room for 2 people and a student room for 1 person at a university in Australia.
Overall, both 2 rooms have adequate facilities for students who rent these rooms. However, a room for 2 students will be cheaper.
A single room is 6 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width. It has 1 bed and 1 bathroom. There is also a study desk for students to do their assignments or work and a television for them to entertain. It includes a stove, a sink and a microwave so that students can cook by themselves.
A room for 2 people has the same length as a single one but the width is 1.5 meters longer. It has similar cooking equipment, bathroom and TV like a room for 1 person. The beds and study desks are double to meet the needs of 2 people. A double room adds a bookshelf and 2 cupboards to make the private space for the students.
