The diagrams show how the bee makes honey and the stages in the production of honey. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features.
The two diagrams illustrate how honey is made and manufactured by bees and humans respectively.
In general, there are altogether six steps in the cycle of bees making honey whereas the production of honey consists of five stages.
In order to get honey, the queen bee has to lay an egg in the honeycomb initially. On the third day, the egg turns into a larva which eventually becomes fully grown after the following week. Three weeks later, it develops into a complete bee that is ready to leave the hive. At this point, the bee gathers nectar from flowers and leaves it in the hive. The collected nectar will result in honey naturally and the cycle repeats once again.
In the production stage, the first step involves removing the honeycomb from the hive by the beekeeper. The next step is that honey is extracted from the honeycomb, operated by a machine. Having boiled for cleaning purposes, honey is stored in jars. Finally, the honey jars are distributed and sold to the customers.
