The charts compare the number of graduate and postgraduate who did not into full-time work after leaving college in four types of group in the United Kingdom in 2008.
In general, there were increased sharply in further study in the people who graduate in the United Kingdom in 2008, while the further study have same situation for students who postgraduates in the United Kingdom in same year.
As can be seen, the student who graduated after college either selected part-time work, voluntary work, further work or Unemployment. Further work have maximum number of students with 29665 who selected this work. After that they selected par-time work with 17737 and unfortunately 16235 students did not have any job and the voluntary work have minimum number in to groups of graduate and postgraduate in the United Kingdom in 2008. In postgraduate people further work have increased more than other groups. It has 2725 employees and after that part-time work with 2535 employees. Unemployment’s located in third place with 1625 in the United Kingdom in 2008.
Totally the number of students in graduate was more than postgraduate.
