Dear Mailen,
I am writing to inform you on delaying my visit in your place as supposed to what we had last talked about.
It is my utmost regret to tell you that I cannot be able to leave our province on the 20th of January next year because my brother, Francis, suddenly decided to hold his wedding on the 24th. It has been a swift change of plans on my part and I apologize for this short notice. I know that you have been excited since I booked my flight to London and I really missed you very much after five years of not seeing you, it makes me wonder how you have become now.
After the wedding, I can already be available and in no time, I will definitely be there. I changed my flight schedule to 26th of January, making myself available on the 27th as a godparent of your daughter, Angeline. I have also extended my stay to four weeks instead of two weeks to spend more time with you and your family. We have plenty of stories to catch up together since we parted ways, so be ready with it.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. I look forward to seeing you soon. Please contact me through skype should you need to clarify our schedules and need further arrangement.
Love lots,
Fiona
