3. give reasons why you do not want this development
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is with regard to the recent plan to make our local airport bigger and increase the number of flights.
I reside around 2 Km away from the local airport with my parents, my sister's family and my grandmother. Our house is situated on the main road on which most of the travelers used to travel to the airport. Our family is living here for more than 30 years.
This airport restructuring plan has become a concern to our family. This is because, the construction will involve heavy vehicles travelling on the main road and the environment will be noisy all the time. This noisy and busy surrounding will be uncomfortable to my grandmother who is a heart patient and my sister's 8 months old son might get sick due to the polluted air resulting from the huge building work at the airport.
Apart from the above, we are informed by the municipal council to use alternative roads on some days due to heavy vehicles transport on the main road. This is going to be very inconvenient for us.
Therefore, please be good enough to consider the situation and take appropriate actions in order to avoid or minimize the impact.
Yours faithfully,
Vaishnavi
