The given line graph depicts the information of people who used mobile phones from a town called Anytowne during the period of 6 years. It is categorized by men, women, and Both sexes.
Overall, the usage of mobile phones increased gradually from 1996-2002. However, the account of both sexes is far away from the other two groups.
In 1996, approximately 1500 men and women used cellphones but the account is doubled for the group of both sexes, 3000. In 1997 and 1998 all the three groups presented with an upward trend then shown a marginal fall in 1999. In the year of 2000, the women’s usage of cell phone dipped to 1600 and men’s accounts overtaken it to 1700. In contrast, an opposite trend observed in 2002, whereas, a steady increase continued till 2002 in “both sexes”.
Finally, in 2002, the accounts of men, women, and both sexes who used mobile phones were 1800, 1900, and 3700 respectively.
