Dear Mr Mark,
My name is Thomas Benz one of your third year employees at the designing sector of the company. I am writing this letter with regard to loss of an important document.
One week age one of my colleagues gave me the new equipment contracts that we had purchased. He said you had asked me to pursue the process of the payments and delivery of goods, although it was the original format of contacts, I have lost them.
As far as my memory helps, last Friday at end of the working hours I was in hurry and I Left them on my table. So, I was sure that it would be still there when I would come back after holidays in Monday, but surprisingly enough, it wasn’t there. Maybe, the window was open ad wind blew and fall them on the office floor. Therefore, sweeping the floor, the janitor would have thrown them out as rubbish.
I am extremely ashamed with respect to this carelessness. Thus, I am taking immediate action in order to resolve this issue. Contacting with company, I requested for another copy of the document. Not only would they have another original version in their archive, but they would also have saved the electronic version on their computer. So, I assure you that I could provide a new version until the end of this day.
Please accept my apology for this inconvenience that I brought about.
Yours faithfully,
Thomas Benz
