Technology, while apparently aimed to simplify our lives, only makes our lives more complicated.
The author states that technology is making our lives more complicated than easy. I dont agree that it is true.
It starts from the era of Industrial Revolution when technology came into frame of our lives. From then, Industrial revolution has transformed our lives and made it easier than ever. With the help of technological changes we are able to live more simply as we can connect to our dear ones in seconds if we miss them, and we are away. The thinking ability of younger generation in our society is increasing day by day as science has taken an important role in revolutionising our lives by addition of technology and giving useful products in our hands for daily use.
Nevertheless, our parent's generation do feel that technology has break our families and dear people apart - kids are all the time on social media to increase their networking and contacts, forgetting the fact that they need to meet people in personal to know anyone rather liking any post on their profile on social site. However, this technology is the one which is bringing a change and helping us live more easily. Taking an example from a recent survey - it is found that the blood of umbical cord can be used to cure many diseases like cancer, HIV and many more. This has been proven through technology only and it is scientists who are able ot think beyond given data. Technology should work and people are to think, hence their thinking ability is elevating exponentially.
Despite of the fact that we live in a mundane lifestyle - get up every morning, check tweets, scroll instragram, see facebook, go to work - however, we can only change our lifestyle by using the technology judiously and making a fruitful use out of it.
I would like to conclude that nonetheless technology has made our lives easier, it is not true that it has made our lives complicated therfore, after a technological revolution, people have started thinking critically and analyitcally for their future.
