Integrated essay TPO14
The reading mainly discusses that forest fires and some of disasters which happen in the forests, have to deal with such salvage logging that there are many advantages for human and forests, it illustrates three reasons to supports. On the other hand, the professor rejects the authors' view and asserts that these reasons are not effective.
First of all, the article states that the dead trees should remove in the forest after fire due to they need a lot of time to decompose, therefore, new trees can grow well in new spaces where is prepared. On the contrary, the speaker in the listening, believes that cleaning up the forests of dead trees is not necessary and does not increase more situations to grow some new trees.
In addition, the reading passage point out that the trees that destroied in the fires or somthing like that, not oly takes they more spaces, but also many insects habitat on them such as the apruce bark beetle, then will damage live.. In contrast, the professor argues that this is true that spruce ia dengerous to live, but these dead trees are more available for other animals such as birds and beers that can settle on them, not just for insects.
Finally, the text states that salvage logging are more econimical that the number of industries are dependent on them to produce more products. However, the lecturer refutes that idea bu staing this way need more money and time. In fact, he believes that to moving this deed trees vehicles to moving such as helicopters and it is more expensive, thus, government can improve more conditional job for people in another issues.
