The mentioned bar chart illustrates the information about the proportion of British people providing fund to charity by different age group in two different years: 1990 and 2010.
Overall, there is a slight drop in the rate of British people providing funds to 18-25, 26-35 and 36-50 age groups in 2010 rather than in 1990. However, there is slow increase of rate in two different age groups in the year 2010.
As it can be seen in the graph that the highest proportion of British people gave funds to the age group 36-50 in the year 1990 while it was just 35% in the year 2010. However, a opposite pattern can be seen with that of 51-65 age group with a rate of 35% and 40% in the year 1990 and 2010 respectively.
Furthermore, it is evident that the age group of 26-35 had accounted for slightly above 30% in 1990 whereas it was nearly below 25% in the year 2010.In contrast, it had opposite trend with that of age group above 65 with a figure of slightly more than 30% in 1990 and 35% in the year 2010. Likewise, it was nearly about 15% and 8% with that of 18-25 age groups which was the least proportion in all age group.
