The diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The given diagrams present the process of cement production and then cement using in concrete production.
In the first diagram, limestone and clay are minimized in the small particle as powder through crusher at the same time, which is not entirely homogeneous material. Then this powder is better blended in mixer which flows all mixed mass pass pipe to rotating heater. In this stage, mixed powder is heated along rotated tunnel and sent to conveyor. Amount of powder is transformed to be cement by a grinder, combined with a rolling which set at the terminus of conveyer. Finally, cement is packed in bags.
The second diagram shows that cement can be used to produce concrete. This process is simpler than cement production, only poured four elements in the concrete mixer which rotate along production. We can see that concrete is a mixture of cement 15%, water 10%, sand 25% and small stones, namely gravel, 50%. Lastly, concrete is ready to use after several complicated processes.
