TPO-15 - Integrated Writing Task
In the set of material, both the reading passage and lecture discuss about several measures to stop the spread of the cane toad in Australia. The authors and lecturer have different opinions about the discussion. There are three oppositives points.
First of all, the reading passage affirms that one way to prevent the spread of the toad would be to build a national fence. A fence that blocks the advance of the toads will prevent them from miving into those parts of Australia. However, the listening opposes to the reading saying that one time in the place, the toads gonna follow from inside of other animals and create a true defence and estabalish.
In the second place, the authors say that the toads could be captured and destroyed by volunteers. Even though, the lecturer claims that a action with volunteers can be dangerous, because volunteers are not train to captured toads. Can be even a sucess, but dangerous.
Thrid and last, the reading passage purpouse that researchers are developing a disease-causing virus to control the cane toad populations. He even affirms that the virus can be able to infect a number of reptile and amphibian species. The lecture claims that It is a bad idea, because will go provocate terrible consequences to habitat of reptile and amphibian. One example It is in USA, that a part of ecossystem went distroyed.
