The line graph illustrates age 65 and above population growth in USA, Sweden and Japan from year 1940 to 2040, a hundred year prediction. Overall, these three difference countries seem to have the similar increase over the period of time.

In 1940, the USA was taking almost 10% higher than the other two countries, whereas Japan 5% and Sweden in the middle approximately 7%. By the following decades, from 1960 to 1980, Japan was gradually declining while USA and Sweden remain increasing to 15% in the year of 1980.

Between year 2000 and 2020, USA remain unchanged but Japan sharply rise double time over the previous decade at 10% higher. In contrast to this growth, Sweden dramatically falls from 20% to approximately 17 per cent in 2030. However, USA, Sweden and Japan finish at higher level which Japan is 27% highest than USA, Sweden take middle rate with the percentage of 25.
