The pictures give information about how many men and women attended 4 types of evening courses at an mature educational institution and the age group of them in 2009.
It is clear that the number of women outnumbered that of men in the all courses, with the exception of sculpture while the majority of students were the oldest group (50 or over) members.
According to the bar chart, the amount of female students exceeded that of male in three classes: Drama, Painting and Language. The Language class attracted 60 participants in total, 20 men and 40 women. Similarly, the number of women in Drama class was twice as many as men's, 10 and 20, in turn while the Painting had almost the similar number of male and female attendees, 25 and 30 respectively. Interestingly, only 15 people participated in Sculpture course from both genders.
In terms of age group, the proportion of senior people (50 or over) was the most active in these courses with 42%, while the students who under 20 accounted for mere 5%. The percentage of 20-29 and 30-39-age attenders differed slightly from each other, 11% and 16% in turn, whereas more than a quarter of students were 40-49-age individuals.
