The table illustrades the percentage of travelers at a main urban airport about the intent of their journey during March, June, September, December in 2002.
It can be clearly seen that these figures have considerable variations. The graph shows that the proportion of travelers for business is extremely high in March (73%). After 3 months, in June, it plummets to 29%. Also in this month, the number of the tourist who travel for holiday is the highest (54%), account for more than half, the reasons for this trend may involve the summer vacation and the blazing days in midyear. The lowest proportion is 18% in March.
Similarly, the rate of travelers visiting their family in March is reach the bottom, constituting 6% only. And the ratio surge in December with 26%. cause may be that the Christmas Eve and New Year Eve. In June and September, the percentages are 13% and 11% respectively.
Next, the other reasons remain hold a tiny number of rate, approximately from 3% to 5%, throughout four different in 2002.
In conclusion, we can see that the situation of tourism in general depends fairly abundant on the reason for the trip and the time conditions in year.
