The chart below shows the amount spent on six consumer goods in four European countries
The given bar chart illustrates the expenditure of four European countries in six different items.
In general, while British people spend more money on these things than other countries, German residents are the exact opposite.
Looking into details, the British spend more than 170 thousand pounds on photographic film, which is double the amount spent on tennis racquets and personal stereos. Meanwhile, German is recorded to have the least expenditure on most of the categories, except for perfumes. People from this country spend 150 thousand pounds on tennis racquets while they just spend approximately 145 thousand pounds on photographic film and CDs.
Another point worth noticing is that France and Italy rank second and third in turn. Both French and Italians are likely to be fond of photographic film as they spend nearly 170 and 160 thousand pounds respectively on this item. Moreover, the French and Italians share the same expenditure on toys at just under 160 thousand pounds. Last but not least, although the French spend more money on photographic film and CDs than Italians, their spending is less than Italians’ in terms of perfumes, tennis racquets and personal stereos.
