The chart below shows global sales of the top five mobile phone brands between 2009 and 2013.
The line graph illustrates how many units of five mobile brands were sold during the three periods.
Overall, the number of Samsung and Nokia devices sold were the two highest among other brands throughout the year. However, the figures for all gadget brands were fluctuated.
It was a gradual increase in the figure for Samsung devices, where stood at around 230 millions in the initial year, before it began to rise by 100 millions each years. However, such figure reached a peak in 2013 with virtually 450 millions. Moreover, the number of Nokia phones sales declined slightly, before it began to fell remarkably from above 400 millions to around 250 millions.
The number of Apple phones sold showed a steady increase, about 50 millions each years. How about the figure for ZTE? It increased slightly, but the number of ZTE gadgets purchased just under 100 millions. From this chart, the figure for Appe in 2009 was the lowest with around 10 millions units.
