The bar chart compares seven countries in terms of the number of mobile phones and landlines which are used per 100 people in each country.

In Denmark, UK, Sweden and Italy, the numbers of mobile phones are significantly high, with more than 80 people using phones in 100 random people in each country. However, people in those four different nations have different choices in using landlines, with nearly 90 in 100 people in Denmark using landlines while the figures for UK, Sweden and Italy are nearly 60, 70 and more than 40 respectively.
Canada is the country that has the smallest use of mobile phones, with under 40 in 100 people using this device. The US and Germany rank the sixth and the fifth in the use of mobile phones, at nearly 50 and 70 in 100 people.
