Overall, the presence of the proportion of renewable energy in both Sweden and Iceland was slightly increased over the period of time. Besides, Iceland recorded the highest data, featuring noticeably distinguish with Australia's and Sweden’s.
In detail, the amount of renewable energy was made up nearly a half of total energy in 1997, and then it grew gradually standing at 60 percent and exactly 70 percent in 2000 and 2010 respectively in Iceland. By contrast, the year 1997 witnessed a small amount of renewable energy in Sweden at 5 percent in total, also over 13 years later this data remained still under 10 percent.
More significant, there was a moderate decline in Australia's data which fell by around 4 percent from 9 percent in 1997 compared to nearly 5 percent in 2010. Meanwhile, Turkey’s renewable energy registered a considerable fluctuation over the period shown. It reached the peak at two-fifths of total energy in 2000, much more than that of Australia and Sweden.
